On Monday, February 8, the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School held its first elective fair to help students chose from the wide array of electives offered in our school. Choosing electives is a very difficult, yet crucial task. Without electives, students would not be able to broaden their knowledge and expand their interests. Electives can be seen as a path to your life ahead. Colleges often look at the electives students have taken and how much they challenge themselves. AP courses or regular electives can be very strenuous but fun.
The fair was very helpful and gave students an insight on the classes. Teachers informed students of what they should expect in their classes. Sophomore Isabel Lin said, "The electives fair allowed me to communicate with the teachers of the electives and ask questions to help me determine if their elective is really right for me." Thank you to college guidance and the administration for organizing the elective fair.
