This past Monday, the Yeshivah of Flatbush Model UN team toured the world renowned establishment of the United Nations headquarters, where world leaders make decisions that affect each and everyone’s daily lives worldwide. Model UN students research two worldwide issues extensively in preparation of debating these issues and eventually resolving them diplomatically throughout the year, but most notably at the Yeshiva University National Model United Nations competition. As Senior members on the team would tell you, the information gained from this trip is a huge advantage for the YOFHS Delegation. The YOFHS Delegation has been ranked to be part of the top three delegations internationally, the last time the team took this trip, YOFHS won 1st place.
